Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of frontsteploans.com and any related services (the "Services") provided by Vizy Marketing LLC, doing business as Front Step Loans ("Front Step," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. What we do

Front Step provides a free service that helps consumers explore personal loan options. Front Step does not guarantee any offer or approval. Any loan is subject to its own terms, disclosures, and agreement, which you will receive before you accept.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the United States to use the Services. You agree that all information you provide is true, accurate, complete, and your own.

3. Submitting a request

When you submit a request, you authorize Front Step to share the information you provide with 27 Financial LLC and its affiliated companies so they can evaluate your request and contact you about loan products. You also authorize them to obtain a soft credit report about you, which does not affect your credit score. A hard credit inquiry may be performed if you choose to accept an offer and proceed, which may affect your credit score. Submitting a request does not guarantee that you will be contacted, receive an offer, or be approved.

4. Consent to be contacted

By providing your phone number and checking the call consent box, you give your express written consent for Front Step and 27 Financial LLC and its affiliated companies to call you at that number about loan products, including calls made with automated technology and artificial or prerecorded voice, even if your number is on a do-not-call list. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Text messages are sent only if you also check the separate, optional text message box, as described below. You agree to tell us if your phone number changes or is reassigned.

4a. Text message program

Program: Front Step Loans text messages about your loan request, including follow-ups, appointment reminders, and answers to your questions. You opt in by checking the separate, optional text message box on our application and submitting your mobile number. Checking it is not required to submit the application, and consent is not a condition of any purchase.

Frequency and cost: Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

Opt out and help: Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts; you will get one confirmation message and no further texts. Reply HELP for help, or email legal@frontsteploans.com.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Your mobile information and text messaging opt-in data are handled as described in our Privacy Policy and are never shared with third parties for marketing.

5. Electronic communications

You agree to receive disclosures, notices, and other communications from us electronically, including by email and on the Services, and agree that these satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.

6. Rates and examples

Any rates, payments, loan amounts, terms, or scenarios shown on the Services are examples for illustration only and are not offers. Actual rates and terms depend on your credit history, income, existing balances, loan amount, loan term, state of residence, and other factors. Not all applicants will qualify, and not all products are available in every state.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to submit false or another person's information; interfere with or disrupt the Services; use bots, scrapers, or automated means to access the Services; or use the Services for any unlawful purpose.

8. Intellectual property

The Services and their content, design, and trademarks are owned by Front Step or its licensors and are protected by law. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from them without our written permission.

9. Third-party sites and services

The Services may link to or involve third-party websites and services. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, products, or privacy practices.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT YOU WILL RECEIVE ANY OFFER OR THAT ANY OFFER WILL BE THE BEST AVAILABLE TO YOU. INFORMATION ON THE SERVICES IS GENERAL IN NATURE AND IS NOT FINANCIAL, LEGAL, OR TAX ADVICE.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FRONT STEP AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, AND PARTNERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES OR ANY LOAN OR PRODUCT OFFERED BY A THIRD PARTY. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100).

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Front Step from any claims, losses, or expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your violation of these Terms or your submission of false information.

13. Dispute resolution and arbitration

Please read this section carefully. You and Front Step agree that any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Services will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court. You and Front Step each waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action or class-wide arbitration. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing legal@frontsteploans.com within 30 days of first using the Services, with your name and a statement that you opt out of arbitration.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the Federal Arbitration Act and, to the extent not preempted, the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

15. Changes and termination

We may update these Terms at any time by posting a revised version and changing the effective date. Your continued use of the Services means you accept the updated Terms. We may suspend or end your access to the Services at any time.
